2005 G35, Vortech Supercharger

Postby 06rexwagon » Fri Jul 23, 2010 8:46 pm

Another car from a local shop.
2005 G35,AUTOMATIC, Vortech SC, catback, some aftermarket intake manifold.
Tuned with a Split Second piggyback ecu.
only 6psi

I'm pretty certain that if I could have rev'd higher it would have kept making power. The car is white with chrome Volk's. Total sleeper.

Wow! Nice. A co-worker of mine just bought a used G35 for 18k with 35k miles on it and it is a beautiful car! She has the 305HP, Automatic model with leather and its got me thinking....Now that I see what Cam can do... Hate to lose my AWD Subie, but 108k miles has left me wanting. A 4" DP, VF52, gave me some power but that G35 looks interesting.

I saw a turbocharged G35 at Pep Boys the other day. I don't think I would ever go back to a non turbocharged car nor an automatic.

4" DP is a waste. It won't make any more power than a 3". I'm still running a 3" DP.

What color was it?
I've tuned a turbo G35 for the same shop.

It was a silver G35. Looked nice. It might have had a different (non oem) hood.

power slope is amazing. Looks like the energizer bunny, it keeps going and going and going. ;)

I ran into this car i believe, the vortec one, is it white with some chorme volks and wingless if so, i was dissapointed. idk if its cause its so heavy or what but i ran him on the freeway in mexico from a 60 roll cause thats what he wanted and at about 100 i started pulling and final result was i had about 2 cars on him. nice car none the less and nothing against you at all Cam i think it must be cause its so heavy or somehting but it was fairly slow for putting down that kinda power.

They weigh around 3500lbs. Those giant rims aren't helping him either. That's cool that you out ran him. I've never met the owner because I just tuned it for a shop.
