08 WRX clutch is slipping... imagine that

when i bought the car, i noticed a ever so slight shudder in the clutch, like its slightly warped. I took it to the dealer under warranty and they said they didnt feel it, to bring it back if it gets worse. So now Sunday on my way home from a trip to northern NM, clutch started slipping in high gears at 3k rpm. Since that dealer trip I have gone full stage 2, so not sure if they will warranty it. If not I want to get a slightly upgraded clutch, thinking about Exedy Stage 1 clutch. I never plan on going any more than about 300-350hp. Any other suggestions? Also Cam please PM me an estimate of installation price if you could install one. Thanks

I wouldnt go anything beyond the excedy stage 1.

Cam's an engineer, not a mechanic I'd ask boostinc if he is looking for business

Oh. I thought he did engine work in the shop too. I may do it myself but not sure if I wanna deal with it.

Cam does his own work, but primarily is not a hired wrench.

Gotcha. He only does the fun stuff. Dont blame him. I used to be a mechanic at a few different shops

Sorry I was out of town. I don't usually do wrenching except my car. Boostinc or my buddy Luc can do a clutch for you. Sorry.
