Dyno Day!!! Finally 7/17/10

Postby 06rexwagon » Fri Jul 09, 2010 1:58 pm

Everyone,
I'm going to hold a dyno tuning day with Pro Power on 7/17, next Saturday.
To make it worth it for everyone, I'll pay half of your 1st hour of dyno time ($50) if you're getting tuned.
I'll bring my bbq grill and see if I can get the dyno owner to go in on some burger/dogs.
I'd like to get started at 8am and be done by 5 or 6pm. That should give us enough time to tune 5-7 cars pretty easily. If time allows we'll do some baseline pulls if anyone wants to see where they stand. (either that or we'll throw my wagon up and make a bunch of noise).

Post here or email/text me if you want to get added to the list of cars to be tuned.
Map to the dyno:
http://www.mapquest.com/mq/2-4xts18Xi
List of tunes:

1. oguitar - Orlando, bugeye wagon
2. Kelly - Evilution, 06 30R Evo, race gas
3. Troy - Bollocks, 2004 FXT, built engine, Dom4XTR
4. Bryant - stimuncy, 2006 STi, stage 2, FMIC
5. Daniel - whitesti400, 2005 STi, built engine, Dom3XTR, E85
6. Beau - Swapped RS, VF39, E85 (maybe)
7. Rugby Mike - 08 STi +
8. Anthony - 2005 LGT, stage 2 + EWG, FMIC

There are couple other cars that are going to get on for baselines, including a new Challenger.

I am in Cam. Been wanting a tune for a while now. This is just lighting a match to get me started. I got a bunch of things to do before then. Maybe I can bring some salsa and chips.

Sounds good. Do you have a time slot in mind?

Get it done. I wish I had time to help but lately I don't have time to do anything. Let me know if you need any odd parts or gaskets. I have a pile here.

No time slot in mind. I can go first since it looks like my car will be the lowest in WHP #'s.

I just installed my p&p'd exhaust manifolds. This week I need to install my p&p'd TD04 and turbo inlet. Not really looking for crazy gains just quicker boost. I also need you to adjust those temp figures for my 160 thermostat.

Ill be there, you have any more rooms for tunes. I just finished Chris's 2.5 with drop ins and hopefully he can put a decent amount of break in miles before the tune.

It's getting pretty full. You can hang out on stand by in case anyone cancels...

I haven't been good about setting the food up. I was going to grab some burgers and dogs at Costco and bring my grill. If anyone wants to bring drinks or sides please do.

That should work. I think Beau with the RS had that spot but he's backing out because he has some issues to work out on his car.
